Becca Vaclavik

Becca Vaclavik (she/they) is a communication specialist and culture enthusiast with over a decade of experience in digital marketing, storytelling and team leadership. She works as the Assistant Director of PR for CU Presents on the University of Colorado Boulder campus, leading the editorial strategy for events produced by the Artist Series, the Colorado Shakespeare Festival, the Takács Quartet, the College of Music, and the Department of Theatre & Dance. She is also president of the College of Music staff council.

In her spare time, Becca serves on the board for the Butterfly Effect Theatre of Colorado (BETC) and recently began volunteering for Stork Support of Northern Colorado. She holds an MS in organizational leadership (University of Colorado) and a BS in theatre management (University of Evansville); her most recent academic focus has been on creating intersectional justice by removing access barriers to the performing arts.

Outside her professional life, Becca spends her time with her spirited dogs (two: Brillo and Bagel), spirited children (also two: Harrison and Ruby), and her husband (just the one for now: Austin).
