Kyu Yeon Park

Pianist Kyu Yeon Park was born in South Korea. She is a professor of piano at Kunsan National University of South Korea and is currently a visiting research scholar at the University of Colorado Boulder. With degrees from Konservatorium der Stadt Wien and the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Wien.

Kyu Yeon Park has performed in solo recitals, duo recitals and made orchestral appearances throughout the world, including South Korea, Japan, and Europe.  With a passion for music education Park has published annotated pedagogical editions of works by J.S.Bach and Robert Schumann. She is the director of the Belleza, a performing group of her graduate students in Korea and plans regular concerts to help them toward success as musicians.

She is a vice-president of Honam branch of Piano Society of Korea, a board member of Piano Duo Association of Korea and also a board member of International Piano Music Society of Korea.
