John McKeever

John McKeever is pursuing his Doctor of Musical Arts in Orchestral Conducting at the University of Colorado Boulder. As a graduate teaching assistant, he is the director of the Campus Orchestra. He also serves as an Assistant and Cover Conductor for the Boulder Philharmonic. From 2012-2018, John served as the Assistant Conductor for Piedmont Opera in Winston-Salem, NC. A native of Anchorage, Alaska, John is a woodworker who enjoys making batons while listening to “golden-age” musicals.
