CURRENTLY SEEKING: Assistant Videographer (student)
CU Presents is seeking a year-round student Assistant Videographer who focuses on capturing video of live performances. This role is open to qualified students enrolled at CU Boulder.
Compensation:
- $17-19 per hour
- Two complimentary tickets to most CU Presents shows
Direct Supervisor:
Sarita Narayanswamy, Multimedia and Content Manager
Schedule:
- Weekly hours are scheduled in advance as needed for coverage of events.
Hours not to exceed 10 per week. - Will be required to work at some after-hours weekend events or in the summer.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Occasional videography: live, staged, interview, outdoor, and indoor in collaboration with the Multimedia and Content Manager
- Photography as needed
- Audio recording
- Professional skills, including good communication, teamwork, positivity and time management
- Self-guidance on projects and initiatives
- Ability to interpret and convey our various brands’ voices
These skills are a plus:
- Experience with shooting moderately fast-moving subjects (Ex. Dancers, sports teams, performers, live performances)
- Experience with a Panasonic Lumix S5ii
