Public Talk (2020)

Free or pay what you can

Free or pay what you can

  • Presented by: CU Boulder College of Music
  • Runtime: 90 minutes

Inspired by the current discussions revolving around equity and access in music education, Dr. Sarah Minette takes an approach to music education that is grounded in culturally sustaining and anti-racist pedagogy. In “What's going on in here? 'Remixing' Music Education,” Minette offers contemplations on the necessity to consider “what if,” “why” and “with whom” and the implications these ponderings have for the future of music education.

This guest speaker is made possible in part by a grant from the CU Boulder Center for Humanities & the Arts.
