Japanese Ensemble

CU Boulder’s Japanese Ensemble, dedicated to hands-on learning of Japanese music and dance, studies several traditional Japanese instruments and Japanese poetry and performs a wide variety of music and dance from many regions of Japan.

From orchestras, bands and choirs to jazz, world music and opera to world-class faculty and guest performances, the CU Boulder College of Music brings hundreds of stunning performances to Boulder audiences throughout the academic year.
