CU Boulder’s Latin American Ensemble presents its last spring semester concert featuring the talented students and faculty of CU Boulder. The program includes collaborations with guest artists from the College of Music and Grammy Award-winning artist Victor Mestas on the world premiere of Tomás Camba’s ‘Momas.’

The Latin American Ensemble performs popular and traditional music from Latin America and the Caribbean, showcasing individual students and group singing, as well as virtuosic performances by ensemble directors. 

This concert features the following musicians: Brayden Austin, maracas and keyboard; Ryan Brawders, electric bass; Tomás Camba, piano, percussion; Meredith Church, flute, background vocals; Yuti Gao, guitar, congas; Sarita Narayanswamy, vocals, guitar; Greta Smith, keyboard, background vocals; Abigail Sullivan, guitar, background vocals; Emily West, harp, background vocals; Johnette Martin, ensemble director, zampoña, vocals; Victor Mestas, piano; Madison Triplett, bassoon; Laynie Metsker, bassoon; Larissa Harrison, bassoon; Daniela Garzon Guerra, bassoon; Gavin Kitchen, vibraphone; Zachary Howarth, drum set.
