One of the most gratifying and exciting parts of teaching is when the student educates the teacher. This concert will feature performances of repertoire inspired by doctoral thesis projects of CU Boulder College of Music alumni. Margaret McDonald and her colleagues will present this music with video and live introductions from collaborative piano, flute and voice graduates.
This performance will feature the following: Meta Weiss, cello; Abigail Nims, mezzo-soprano; Andrew Garland, baritone; Christina Jennings, flute; introductions by CU Boulder alumni Christina Lalog Seal, Allan Armstrong, Cathy Compton, Kaleb Chesnic, Nathália Kato.
Renowned CU Boulder College of Music faculty artists perform with students and colleagues in chamber music recitals featuring world premieres and beloved classics. Join us for this free series in person at Grusin Music Hall or via livestream most Tuesdays August through March.
