“Love is a god, and marriage is but words.”
Perfect for lovers of true crime, “Arden of Faversham” tells the story of a woman’s real-life pact with her lover to murder her husband. Its authorship is as mysterious as its plot: “Arden” has been attributed to numerous authors over the years, including William Shakespeare, Christopher Marlowe, and Thomas Kyd.
Since 1958, the Colorado Shakespeare Festival has delighted audiences with professional theatre on the CU Boulder campus. All productions will occur in the comfortable indoor Roe Green Theatre this season.
