CU Boulder Symphony Orchestra
Pictures!
On this program, the CU Boulder Symphony Orchestra will feature two exciting soloists along with a perennial favorite, Maurice Ravel's vivid orchestration of Modest Mussorgsky's "Pictures at an Exhibition." Los Angeles-based composer and jazz saxophonist Ennis Harris will join the orchestra to perform his new work, "From the Wind, That Which Augurs." Also joining us will be Sam Moore, winner of the graduate division of the College of Music's Honors Competition, performing Dmitri Kabalevsky's Cello Concerto No. 2 in C minor, Op. 77.
