Lush: A Night of Romantic Expression + Sonic Opulence

Free, no tickets required
Faculty Tuesdays

Begin the evening with the sweeping grandeur of Richard Strauss’ Piano Quartet. Next, experience the velvet lyricism of Alban Berg’s early songs and the cinematic glow of Erich Korngold’s vocal works—including one of his most beloved baritone arias, “Mein Sehnen, mein Wähnen.”

An intimate and immersive program of voice and chamber music where longing, color and emotion bloom in full. Pianist Suyeon Kim will be sharing the stage with violinist Alex Gonzalez, violist Erika Eckert, cellist David Requiro, mezzo soprano Abigail Nims and baritone Andrew Garland.

Renowned CU Boulder College of Music faculty artists perform with students and colleagues in chamber music recitals featuring world premieres and beloved classics. Join us for this free series in person at Grusin Music Hall or via livestream most Tuesdays from August through March.
