“March brings breezes, loud and shrill, to stir the dancing daffodil.” [excerpt from The Garden Year, by Sara Coleridge]. Join us for an evening of joyous music to stir the dancing daffodil: the enchanting Variations on a Theme of Haydn by Brahms; followed by songs of spring, maidens and blooms by Strauss and Wolf; and culminating in the scintillating Sonata in D Major for Cello and Piano by Mendelssohn… a perfect antidote to the winter doldrums!
Featuring Alexandra Nguyen and Jennifer Hayghe, piano; Jennifer Bird, soprano; and Meta Weiss, cello
