Faculty Tuesdays (2020)
Hugo Wolf's Italienisches Liederbuch
Free or pay what you can
Soprano Jennifer Bird, baritone Andrew Garland and pianist Jeremy Reger present Hugo Wolf's Italian Songbook (Italienisches Liederbuch). Greatly influenced by Richard Wagner, Wolf was a master composer of songs with evocative text settings and rich harmonies. These songs about simple human relationships are among his very best. Please join us for our performance of one of the crown jewels of the German art song repertoire.
Renowned faculty artists perform with students and colleagues in chamber music recitals featuring world premieres and beloved classics. Free most Tuesdays September through March.
