SoundWorks

Join us for an unforgettable evening of music at CU Boulder SoundWorks’ final concert of the Spring 2024 semester. Be among the first to witness the premiere of an exciting new composition by CU Boulder’s very own Josie Arnett, written for and performed by the Centaurus High School Chamber Orchestra, and directed by the talented Heather Murphy. This concert will also feature new music from other talented CU Boulder composers, including Alex Loran, Josh Maynard, Luka Vezmar and Alan Mackwell.

CU Boulder SoundWorks (formerly Pendulum New Music) is a concert series and forum for the creation and performance of new and original works by CU Boulder College of Music composers, songwriters, improvisers and collaborators. Every concert features multiple world premieres by living composers and creators. Each event is eclectic and can feature anything from acoustic chamber ensembles to immersive electroacoustic works and film scores, performed by CU’s own students as well as internationally renowned guests.
