After 51 legendary years, founding cellist András Fejér has announced his retirement from the Takács Quartet. The ensemble is thrilled to welcome the acclaimed Mihai Marica as their new cellist, effective September 1, 2026. Marica will join the Takács Quartet on stage for the final piece of the April 2026 concert.
