The Marriage of Figaro

By Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart

The Marriage of Figaro

Music by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
Libretto by Lorenzo Da Ponte

A sharp comedy of clever servants and clueless nobles, Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro follows Figaro, Susanna and their friends as they race to outsmart the Count and save a rapidly unraveling wedding day. What begins as a simple plan turns into a tangle of disguises, secret meetings and quick reversals, all lifted by Mozart’s bright and brilliant score. This classic opera mixes social satire with heartfelt humor and delivers a story where wit triumphs, love steadies the course and the underdogs earn a hard‑won victory.
