Faculty and graduate students present solo and chamber music by the late Mexican composer Mario Lavista. Lavista, considered one of the most accomplished Latin American composers of the last 50 years, wrote suggestive, delicate and luminous music. The concert will be introduced by Lavista scholar Ana Alonso-Minutti from the University of New Mexico.
