Duo pianists Jennifer Hayghe and Alexandra Nguyen explore the journey of circumnavigation, weaving through diverse emotions, cultures and political movements. From the variety of geographic origins and inspirations of the music in this program to the variety of emotional responses in these works, circumnavigation unveils the multi-layered panorama of our collective experiences. Composers featured include Connor Chee, Carlos Guastavino, Reynaldo Hahn, Nikolai Kapustin, Kelly-Marie Murphy and Carter Pann.
