Faculty Tuesdays
STOLEN
STOLEN is an evening of musical borrowing, transformation, and reinvention. Featuring Christina Jennings, Margaret McDonald, Ryan Gardner, Nathan Mertens, Sterling Tanner, Javier Abreu, and graduate saxophone students, the program takes music written for other instruments and reimagines it through unexpected combinations of sound.
From Schubert and Brahms to Leroy Anderson and contemporary voices, these works are pulled from their original homes and given new lives. Familiar music meets fresh voices, new colors, and unexpected perspectives, offering a new way to hear works we thought we knew.
Renowned CU Boulder College of Music faculty artists perform with students and colleagues in chamber music recitals featuring world premieres and beloved classics. Join us for this free series in person at Grusin Music Hall or via livestream most Tuesdays from August through March. Click here for a full schedule.
Whether it’s $5 or $100, your gift will help the work of the College of Music continue to inspire artistry and discovery, together. Please pay what you can before or after enjoying this special presentation—or join us for free!
