The CU Boulder Chamber Singers will preview their upcoming tour program "Sh’ma: Global Jewish Music" ahead of their landmark performance at the Southwest Conference of the American Choral Directors Association in Albuquerque. The program features Jewish music from multiple continents, languages and cultural traditions as well as several soloists and dancers from within the Chamber Singers.
Additional performances by the CU Boulder Festival Chorus, University Choir and Treble Chorus will highlight music by composer-in-residence Dale Trumbore who will be present for the concert after giving special clinics and sessions to prepare the choirs. CU Boulder choral conducting graduate students Blake Clawson, Emily Peterson, Wyatt Smith, Zachariah Smith and Kevin Wille will all conduct selections from the program.
