The CU Boulder Symphony Orchestra presents “Passions,” a concert of orchestral works filled with striking imagery, national pride, global colors and epic soundscapes: Roberto Sierra’s impressionistic and rhapsodic work "Fandangos" reimagines the dance form through Baroque and contemporary views; Gyula Dávid’s soulful viola concerto will feature the 2024-25 College of Music Concerto Competition winner Finn Cruit; and the performance will conclude with Antonín Dvořák’s towering Symphony No. 7 in D minor which the composer prayed would stir the world.

The CU Boulder Symphony Orchestra performs a diverse repertoire, including symphonies and large-scale orchestral works by major composers, at Macky Auditorium.
